Ashley has over eleven years in the public and private sector where she developed comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant federal and provincial legislation and gained technical experience with contaminated sites. Her experience includes environmental assessments, environmental effects monitoring projects, compliance monitoring, air monitoring, HAZMAT and regulated material surveys, petroleum storage tank audits and inspections and provides environmental functional guidance for clients.
Brian is an environmental professional, husband and father, currently employed as an Account Executive with SGS Canada Inc. – a leading environmental analytical testing lab. He assists environmental consulting and mining clients with any and all of their analytical project needs throughout Canada.
Brian graduated from McMaster University with a B.Sc in Environmental Science in 2011, and Niagara College with a graduate certification of Environmental Management and Assessment in 2013. Today, he has over 7 years of environmental consulting experience working on contaminated sites as a senior environmental site assessor and junior project manager, conducting Phase I and II ESAs involving drilling, soil and groundwater sampling, as well as remediations all across Canada. Outside of work, Brian spends most of his time with his family, his wife, son and their 2 dogs.
In 2002 Carole Crowe started her own company, Indigenous Visions Inc., and environmental training and consulting business. Carol is a certified ECOCanada Environmental Professional (EP), a National Heritage Interpreter and has diverse experience in indigenous education from a university classroom to the field.
To date, Carol has trained over 400 Indigenous Environmental Monitors across Canada with the ECOCanada BEAHR programs. Focused on working with grassroots communities bridging traditional knowledge and western science to find ways to reduce impacts to lands, waters, soil and air while protecting indigenous knowledge and sacred places. She also teaches Land Use Planning, Climate Change Adaptation and Leadership Energy Management, to assist communities as they build capacity to pursue sustainable projects.
Carol Crowe, an avid volunteer with the Board Director for Friends of the Park of Prince Albert National Park, and with her family for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Saskatchewan. She is an Alumni of the Governor-General Study Conferences. She resides with her husband and family in the transition zone from the prairies to the boreal forest at Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan.
Connie Lum has been involved in the environmental industry for nearly 20 years and was certified as Environmental Professional (EP) since 2008. In March 2019, she became a Certified Environmental Auditor (EP(CEA)). Her experience blends from the manufacturing and consulting backgrounds in the areas of environmental, and health & safety (EHS) regulatory compliance and project management. Ms. Lum is the founder of Envirolum Consulting Inc. which offers sub-contract and full-service environmental and sustainability audits, environmental management systems development, EHS regulatory compliance including air/noise permits known as Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA), environmental emissions reporting, and occupational hygiene consulting services.
Ms. Lum received a Post-Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management from Niagara College shortly after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1998. In 2019, she completed a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Practice from Royal Roads University. Based in Kitchener, Ontario she enjoys rock climbing, fitness, playing the piano, spending time with friends, travelling to experience different cultures, and volunteering.
Evan Baker has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geography from the University of Calgary granted in 1980 and 1985 respectively. Over his career he has been involved in many aspects of environmental work, including soil and vegetation surveys, environmental impact assessments, regulatory applications and management system development. Evan started in the audit field in 1989 at Nova Corporation of Alberta, and has been involved in Environment, Health and Safety, and Operations Management System audits throughout his career since then, achieving his Certified Environmental Auditor designation in 2002. He has conducted audits on upstream oil and gas facilities, pipelines, water and wastewater facilities, rail, power plants, wind energy and chemical facilities. Mr. Baker is currently leading audit and assurance program design and delivery services with SPAN Consulting in Calgary.
Evan lives with his wife Penny Christensen in Calgary AB and Saint John NB. They have two daughters, Kelly and Alana.
After enjoying over 30 years in the environmental drinking water sector, John entered semi-retirement early in 2018. He continues to manage a water operator training company in Ontario on a part-time basis.
Free time has allowed John to take pleasure in volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, most recently in Whitehorse in the Yukon. Before the COVID 19 outbreak, he was delivering water resource courses at Six Nations Polytechnic in Brantford Ontario, which he anxiously looks forward to resuming.

As an established environmental professional, her broad range of environmental work experiences complements the strengths of the team specifically in the areas of green building rating systems, waste diversion, and sustainability. In addition, she brings a wealth of knowledge in regards to her past involvement with local government, industry, oil and gas, and not-for-profit organizations.
Tracey holds a Diploma in Architectural Technologies from SAIT, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Royal Roads University (RRU), and a Master of Arts in Environment in Management, also from RRU. Her work experience began in local government in the areas of sustainability and then waste and recycling, before transitioning into industry and now the educational sector.
