Amberly Dooley recently joined the Pathways Alliance as Director, Policy and has extensive experience in managing the policy, regulatory and environmental considerations associated with energy development. The Pathways Alliance is an organization created by Canada’s largest oil sand producers to advance responsible development of the industry, including addressing the critical challenge of climate change.
Amberly holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and is a professional engineer as well as a registered environmental professional. Prior to joining the Pathways Alliance, Amberly was with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) where she worked collaboratively with oil sands companies, government, and stakeholders to lead technical advocacy. Amberly also has extensive industry experience and has been involved in regulatory and environmental management for mining, oil sands and conventional oil and gas projects and operations. Through her broad engagement, Amberly is driving new initiatives and approaches to collaboratively address the issues facing the energy industry in Alberta.
