ECO Canada is proud to present the 2025 EP® Auditor ECO IMPACT Award to Connie Lum, an exemplary Environmental Professional (EP®) who has made significant contributions to both the environmental profession and her local community. Designated as an EP(CEA) with ECO Canada since 2019, Connie’s commitment to excellence is evident in all aspects of her career. She is the founder and principal consultant of Envirolum Consulting Inc., where she provides environmental management and occupational hygiene consulting services. Her passion for supporting businesses and promoting sustainability is matched by her dedication to community engagement.
Connie’s involvement with the EP® community is particularly notable. As the leader of the Kitchener-Waterloo EP® Chapter, she has played a key role in organizing networking events and educational opportunities for environmental professionals in her region. She has also mentored emerging professionals, sharing her expertise and fostering a sense of camaraderie and growth within the EP® network. Connie’s leadership extends beyond her professional work; she is a tireless advocate for the circular economy, evidenced by her role as Sustainability Lead for the Eastwood Neighbourhood Association and her collaboration with Reep Green Solutions.
Her contributions to sustainability are not confined to her professional work. Connie has also initiated impactful community projects, such as a local recycling hub for non-curbside recyclable materials, which has expanded to multiple community centers. Through her work, she not only elevates the environmental profession but also inspires those around her to take action toward positive environmental change.
