EP® Spotlight

Nominees for this award are our esteemed Environmental Professionals (EP®s) who have made a significant impact through their work, research, advocacy, or policy development. They have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting and preserving the environment, and their achievements have contributed to the advancement of sustainable practices, environmental education, conservation efforts, and the promotion of a greener and more sustainable future. 

Award Nomination Criteria

All nominations are submitted via the member spotlight (linked above). All certified members are eligible to be nominated, or nominate themselves, provided they meet the following criteria:

1. Hold at least one EP® designation in good standing (up to date on payment and annual/term renewal requirements)
2. Have not been nominated in another category (if an employer is nominated as Top Employer or ECO Community Award, that is acceptable)
3. The member (or individual nominating) has submitted a complete member spotlight form outlining career experience, contributions, and the value placed on their designation. Applicants are encouraged to detail their overall contribution to the sector and can include examples of exemplifying passion, knowledge and leadership.
