Lora Amos-Terpstra is an Environmental Professional (EP) and EP Champion. She has over 12 years experience working in the Environmental Consulting Industry in Calgary, Alberta. In her capacity as an environmental project manager, Lora is enthusiastic about remediating contaminated sites and returning them back to productive use! She has managed multiple client programs and has experience managing all components of Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments and remediation projects for a wide variety of sites in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. These have included operating and abandoned upstream oil and gas well sites and facilities; downstream operating and decommissioned retail fuel outlets; commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential buildings; existing and proposed pedestrian overpass sites; existing highway interchange expansions; and due diligence for acquisitional lands for a variety of development purposes. A notable Phase 1 project of hers was ahead of the Jaipur Pedestrian Bridge Replacement in Eau Claire, Calgary. She enjoys mentoring others and has helped over a dozen young professionals expand their careers in the industry. In her downtime she is trying to keep up with her two young boys and their endless supply of energy, playing board games with family and friends, and tackling her infinite to be read pile.
