Randy Sinukoff is a Senior Environmental Consultant for Stantec Consulting Ltd. Randy specializes in environmental management, due diligence and auditing, sustainability, environmental site assessments and remediation, and hazard and risk evaluation. He is an Environmental Professional with three designations of Environmental Management System Lead Auditor, Compliance Environmental Auditor and Site Assessment and Reclamation, and has been the project manager or senior technical reviewer for over 5000 environmental projects. Operations covered in these projects include but are not limited to chemical manufacturing and distribution, power generation and transmission, transportation, mining, telecommunications, pulp & paper, water treatment, food and beverage, general multi-use real estate portfolios, and all levels of government operations.
Randy has worked in industry and environmental consulting for the past 41 years and since 1996, developed courses and trained more than 1500 people in the private and public sectors on environmental management, environmental risk, auditing and due diligence topics. Randy has been involved in authoring several Canadian and International environmental standards including CSA Z773 (Environmental Compliance Auditing), ISO19011 (Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems) and ISO14015 (Guidelines for Environmental Due Diligence Assessment) and has been a member of the Canadian Mirror Committee to ISO Technical Committee 207 for Environmental Auditing/Management since 1992. He has developed and tested environmental auditing programs for auditing facilities of the Canadian and Ontario governments, municipalities and many major private sector organizations. Randy has volunteered as an environmental engineer, mentor and auditing technical expert for various ECO Canada initiatives, including development of the National Occupational Standard for Environmental Auditing
