Alex Boussetta has a Masters in Engineering Project Management, is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Bombardier and is as well a Lean Sensei (Master Coach and trainer). He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Agile SCRUM Master (SMC) , an Environmental Professional (EP), and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner (PCCP).
He graduated from the New York Institute of Finance and obtained a Certificate of Mastery – M&A Professional Certificate Examination
He also has a Professional Certification in Innovation and Technology as well as a Professional Certification in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, both from MIT.

Alex Boussetta has over 29 years of quality and operational experience. He managed global matrix structures that had over 300 employees. He participated in many company transformations, turnaround initiatives. He is the founder of Abacus Team Inc. His most recent mandates include consulting and teaching in healthcare, government, manufacturing and driving quality in start-ups.

Prior to consulting, Alex Boussetta was Manager of the Six Sigma Competency Center at Bombardier Aerospace, Corporate Director of Lean at MAAX, Director of Operations at Triton Electronik, and most recently Director, Reliability and Director, Global Supply Chain and Devices Quality at Blackberry.

Alex Boussetta has also been teaching at McGill University since 2003. He is the Program Leader for Operational Excellence, which includes Lean Six Sigma, Agile Project Management, Agility, as well as Operations management. He is also the Advanced Management Program Advisor for the McGill Executive Institute.
He trained, coached and certified over 1400 Green Belts and Lean experts, as well as 280 Black Belts and 21 Master Black Belts.

He holds a VIP award for his project management and design work at General Electric, a Five Star Award from BlackBerry for product and services breakthroughs, and McGill Dean’s Service Award for Outstanding Contribution.
