Allison Shelstad is a Senior Assurance Specialist for Strathcona Resources in Calgary, Alberta. Allison has strong roots in governance, risk & compliance (GRC), and has over 20 years of experience working in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Software industries. Some of Allison’s specialties include assurance program development, management system design and implementation, project management and analysis, legal register development, business process improvement, and organizational change management.
Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary, is currently completing her Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Athabasca University, has a project management certification, and is a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP). When she’s not coming up with the next big idea for implementing a management system, assurance program or developing some rock-solid audit criteria, Allison enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and getting a lot of fresh air.
