Arjan Sharma is the Branch Manager for Fleet and Facility Services. The section has over 1200 staff responsible for maintaining over 5000 pieces of fleet and equipment and over 700 facilities. The City of Edmonton has one of the biggest municipal fleets in the country and has committed to climate resilience through a number of initiatives including the implementation of battery electric, hybrid, and hydrogen vehicles amongst other technologies.
Arjan obtained his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Alberta focusing on Public Policy and Management, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) at MacEwan University and holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. Additionally, Arjan has completed business certificates through Harvard University in Stakeholder Relationship Management and Negotiation.
In addition to his role with the City of Edmonton, Arjan has also taught undergraduate classes in Negotiation, Managerial Skill Development, and Organizational Behaviour at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta.
