Krystyna Urbancic

Project Manager - The Blue Economy | ECO Canada

Krystyna is a passionate advocate for the oceans with a multifaceted background in marine biology, ocean sciences, and earth sciences. With an advanced diploma in ocean technology, Krystyna has gained extensive experience across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, marine conservation, and other blue economy projects. She is recognized for her expertise in leveraging innovative technologies as tools for conservation and has a proven track record of collaborating with industry partners to test viable technology solutions.

Throughout her career, Krystyna has worked closely with multiple stakeholder groups to explore and implement ocean technology-based solutions. Her previous role as Gear and Operations Specialist for the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s marine conservation team allowed her to contribute significantly to North Atlantic Right Whale conservation efforts. Currently, as a Blue Economy Project Manager at ECO Canada, Krystyna is focused on developing the blue economy workforce, helping to shape the future of sustainable ocean industries.
