Having joined in 2018, Penney brings almost 25 years of experience in customer research and marketing to Calgary Co-op. As Vice President of Marketing & Member Experiences, she leads the marketing and membership program for all Calgary Co-op lines of business including Community Natural Foods. Penney is incredibly proud and honoured to be a part of the leadership team, especially because of its mission to deliver exceptional member experiences and its deep connection to the community. She also serves as Chair of the Calgary Co-op Foundation, which focuses on food security and support for vulnerable populations. She holds an B.Sc. and MBA, and in 2021 she was recognized nationally by her industry peers, receiving the Star Women of Grocery Award.
