Tanya Richens P. Ag. is the founder and CEO of TCR Environmental Consulting Ltd., a reliable source for regulatory support and clear, concise, accurate information about land conservation, reclamation, and closure in Alberta’s oil sands sector. An advocate for truth and transparency, Tanya is the quintessential straight-shooter who believes we can benefit from our country’s amazing natural resources by doing it responsibly. Her business tagline, “Down to Earth,” says it all. Tanya’s children’s book Adventures in Land Reclamation: Exploring Jobs for a Greener Future, draws on her 24 years of diverse experience in research, conservation, and reclamation within government and industry. Featuring real people and their fascinating jobs, the book aims to bridge gaps in public knowledge and raise awareness about an industry Tanya is deeply passionate about.
