Bimbo Canada

Bimbo Canada is Canada’s largest bakery, and leading producer and distributor of fresh packaged bread and snacks. In an effort to ensure that 100% of packaging will be reusable, recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable by 2025, Bimbo Canada set out to eliminate their single use plastic bread bag closures with new innovative cardboard bread bag closures. Although small, this transition has had a material environmental impact.

City of Richmond Hill

The City of Richmond Hill’s vision is “where people come together to build our community”. The City delivers a wide breadth of programs and services to the community, serving a population of over 200,000 residents and 5,100 businesses. The City of Richmond Hill is considered a community leader when it comes to protecting and enhancing the environment by recognizing the critical balance between economic development and environmental protection.

Calgary-founded in 2004, DIRTT has grown to become a global leader in industrialized construction for interior spaces. DIRTT’s mission is to bring dynamic spaces to life through sustainable construction and leading technology, empowering the world to flourish. As a leader in the construction sector, DIRTT is dedicated to transparency and excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting and helping their clients in achieving their environmental objectives.

Helping Nature Heal (EP Employer)

At Helping Nature Heal, their expert landscape designers and crew work with nature to create beautiful, ecological outdoor spaces that connect people to the land and environment around them. Their unique approach blends ecosystem science, landscape design, ecological restoration, biodynamics, permaculture, eco-forestry and horticulture therapy to create sustainable landscapes that are customized to each client. Helping Nature Heal also provides a variety of educational services such as workshops, courses, presentations, and mentorships in order to share their knowledge and help make Nova Scotia a more sustainable place to live.

Petitcodiac Watershed Alliance

The Petitcodiac Watershed Alliance is a registered environmental charity that works to protect and restore the health and ecological services of the watersheds that flow into the Shepody Bay, in Southeastern New Brunswick, through science-based research, action, and public outreach.

TerraWest Environmental

TerraWest Environmental Inc. embodies a commitment to inspect, assess, remediate, and provide practical solutions for projects that foster economic growth while safeguarding human health and the environment. Executing 500 projects annually, TerraWest exemplifies dedication to community impact and environmental benefit. Examples include remediation of historical rail tile preservation facility, hazardous building materials assessment, and biological services for Sooke highway upgrades.
