Experienced People Manager, mentor and team builder with significant senior project management experience over more than 20 years in the engineering consulting industry. In his career Brian has organically grown high performance teams through the recruitment and retainment of great people, being thoughtful, forward thinking and culture driven. This has resulted in a more diverse team of highly engaged members with a curiosity to explore and ability to adapt to the changing work environment.
Brian believes in team building, active listening, mentorship and creating and developing opportunities for other team members, our clients and peers. By doing so we can strengthen our collective resources, actively participate and engage the communities we live and work in.
As an environmental engineer Brian has played a lead role on environmental and construction projects in Western and Atlantic Canada. Project experience extends from early project development, compliance monitoring during construction and operation to site decommissioning and redevelopment on small capital projects (less than a Million) to large (exceeding $500M) assignments for all levels of government, first nations, industrial, commercial, and residential clients.
Brian believes in giving back to the environmental industry by volunteering his time and energy. He currently sits as the Advisor Chair for the Environmental Engineering Program at BCIT, Chair of the Board for the Horticultural College of the Pacific, former president of the BC Environmental Industry Association, and much more. Through these experiences Brian has been able to broaden his experiences, build knowledge and relationships within the industry.
